On the upper back sits the Herd seal: the gas-mask cow in a round badge, THE HERD across the top and IS MIGHTIER THAN THE FLOCK across the bottom. Front says what it is. There are no meetings, no dues and no membership cards. There is this, and the people who recognize it.
