Places to be. Milk to deliver.
Up front, a milk carton in a backwards red-and-white ball cap and red high-tops is mid-stride, one fist in the air, grinning like he already knows where the snacks are. Behind him, a blue-and-green cloud kicks up off the sidewalk. The County lists it as dust. Nobody has checked. A small MLKFRTS SUPPLY CO. line sits underneath and signs off on the whole thing.
Soft, lightweight fine jersey for school drop-off, recess laps and the walk to the car that somehow takes twenty minutes. Cut a little longer in the body for kids who do not stop moving, and easy enough to wash that the grass stains are the only thing that sticks around.
