Dairy Defiance isn't a club, and nobody takes attendance. It's just the Herd, a pasture the County keeps trying to permit, and a long list of things the Herd has calmly declined to do. Disperse, for one.

Up front, a gas-masked cow stares straight out from between a pair of long curved horns, goggles on, twin filters set. DAIRY DEFIANCE runs across a black stencil bar edged in blue, and MLKFRTS SUPPLY CO. signs off underneath. On the upper back sits the Herd seal: the gas-mask cow in a round badge, THE HERD across the top and IS MIGHTIER THAN THE FLOCK across the bottom. Front says what it is. Back says who it answers to.

Word travels through The Udder Ground, the part of the Herd that never shows up on a County map. There are no meetings, no dues and no membership cards. There is this, and the people who recognize it. The County has its own name for the habit in Advisory No. 112-A, where Donut "Two Percent" Udderson is still at large on the 2% Wanted Poster Tee. The Shirt

• Front: the Dairy Defiance mark (gas-mask cow, horns, MLKFRTS Supply Co. line), centered on the chest
• Back: the Herd seal (The Herd Is Mightier Than the Flock), upper back
• AS Colour Staple Tee: midweight 5.3 oz (180 g/m²), 100% combed cotton, pre-shrunk, with a soft hand feel (heather colors are an 85% cotton / 15% viscose blend)
• Regular fit with sizing that runs true to size
• Side seams provide structure and help the shirt keep its shape
• Ribbed knit collar with neck and shoulder tape for lasting shape and comfort
• Black, Charcoal, Dark Chocolate, Natural, Navy or Red, S to 3XL

The Herd doesn't ask permission. It doesn't fill out the form either.
